Taveau D’Arcy did not arrive at these perspectives through today’s social media, ministry trends or current controversies.
Beginning in 1976, during America’s Bicentennial year, she entered what became a long season of observing, experiencing, studying and discerning the diverse American Christian ministry landscape.
She witnessed ministry before today’s Christian media culture; watched Christian television, publishing and large-platform ministry expand; observed the rise of celebrity ministry and multi-campus culture; and later witnessed the enormous influence of the Internet and social media—including an increasing culture of accusation, polarization and confusion.
In 1986, Taveau was called into public charismatic ministry in Richmond, Virginia, beginning The Encouraging Word Ministry. (God removed this minister from being a ‘charismatic’ DFW 2013. So now she is a kind reformer, reprover and corrector. However. she still believes and enjoys the entire “Book of Acts” spectrum of God’s Holy Spirit.
Thus, 2026 marks 50 years of observing and studying American ministry culture and 40 years in public ministry.
This is not offered as a claim of superiority, infallibility or rank.
It simply explains the vantage point.
Taveau’s continuing questions are:
What did Jesus model? What does Scripture actually say? What did the First Church practice? What produces godly character and healthy relationships—and what have we added through human tradition, ministry culture or systems?
As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, Taveau Creative Leadership looks both backward and forward toward what she calls:

I come from Micro Ministry. But I’ve seen the Cosmopolitan Giant , also Multi-Campus Elite Mega Ministry Ones at the Quality Top… which can be the bottom: indifferent ones which reproduce a vanity-legalistic system and/or controlling, papal-resembling cult.
AND FOR THE POWERS THAT BE—AND THE UNYIELDING MANY WHO FEEL THE NEED TO BE “OVER” ME:

Today’s Free-Range Senior Pastor Taveau D’Arcy was formed (milled fine tuned and sifted) from the 1970s to now in multicultural, positive and celebratory EORR Cross Body Unity—a Pauline, Ephesians 4 diverse Body perspective.
She serves as a Galatians 1:1–2 servant leader, practicing Ephesians 5:21 mutual submission among real Christian leaders—not demanded hierarchy over another person’s identity, calling or conscience.

We do submit that the “Regular Church That Is” must change its TONE and METHODOLOGY—without changing God’s Word.
And it must restore something Jesus Christ Himself demonstrated:
GENUINE JESUS CHRIST REAL RESPECT FOR THE ORDINARY, THE ATYPICAL AND UNUSUAL AUTHENTIC COMMON PERSON.
We do not change the Word. We examine how we represent it.
We do not alter the Gospel. We examine each of our own SELVES and how we treat and VALUE other people while proclaiming it.
…HENCE, WE TRAIN.

However, each person should understand that Taveau D’Arcy’s comments concerning doctrine, ministry and Church culture are aimed at CHRISTIANS.
For how many these days actually know:
WHO is the Savior?
WHAT did He come for?
WHAT about the Bible—and why does it matter?
WHY bother to “fellowship with the saints”? Is it a money-collecting club?
And WHAT IS—WHO IS—a REAL Christian right now?
And if we Christians don’t understand these things—and even more importantly, if we don’t show REAL RESPECT and BEHAVE OURSELVES—then how will anyone else ever know?

Taveau D’Arcy is an apostolic servant leader, Bible teacher, prophetic minister, pastor, writer, composer and mature Christian mentor. Her ministry functions are not presented as impressive titles, but as God called “functions” which means different ways of serving God and people.
Her journey began with a call from God in 1976. Through five decades of ministry, study, personal experience and pioneering leadership, she has developed original teaching concerning abiding relationship theology, healthy Christian authority, leadership accountability, equal opportunity real respect and mature cross-body unity.
Taveau helps thoughtful people ask important questions, examine inherited ministry traditions and seek biblical wisdom without domination, accusation or formula.
She takes an upfront stand against all forms of bias, accusation, racism, prejudice, and gossip.
