Proverbs 18:22 ESV<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

POINTS<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

1.<\/strong> The man pursues and seeks \u2014
but he does not<\/strong> settle or compromise just to get any<\/em> woman.(to look popular)<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> The woman develops self-assessment, self-respect, self-value, and self-worth.
She inwardly knows she is worthy of NOT settling<\/strong>, and not lowering her standards or values just to \u201chave a man in her life.\u201d (to look good)<\/p>\n

3. Bottom line:<\/strong>
A Christian man and woman each hold value as whole, true persons \u2014
and both must agree that they are sent by God to each other.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> Along the journey, life will feel like a long, adventurous video game \u2014
full of emotional highs, deep lows, great rewards, hidden dangers, and surprising challenges, along with joy and victory along the way.<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> Through all of this, both must continually rise up, mature, and measure up.<\/p>\n

MAIN POINTS<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Traditionally, the man seeks<\/strong> a good woman.<\/p>\n

But the woman is not hunting<\/strong> (putting the bait out there) or searching frantically for a Christian man.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Because she is preparing for:<\/p>\n

\u2022 what she truly wants<\/span><\/strong>
\u2022 who she truly is<\/span><\/strong>
\u2022 what God has called her to be<\/p>\n

So that\u2026<\/p>\n

if \/ when \/ as the right God-sent man arrives,
<\/strong>she will already be grounded in her own values, dignity, confidence, and practical readiness \u2014
and therefore she will not accept anyone who is below her standards.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And any any valuable Christian MAN will want that<\/p>\n

THE MAN SEEKS \u2014 BUT HAS ALREADY DISCOVERED HIS PROVIDER ENERGY<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Understanding God\u2019s Design for Pursuit, Provision & Partnership<\/span><\/h3>\n

From the beginning of Scripture to the rhythms of real-life relationships today, God clearly places the initiative of seeking a wife upon the man.<\/p>\n

Proverbs 18:22 says:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Notice that this oft quoted major Bible verse says:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    it does not say \u201cshe who finds a husband,\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    nor \u201cshe who hunts one down,\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    nor \u201cshe who pursues a man\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The emphasis rests upon the man.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The godly man pursues, searches, seeks, and discerns.<\/p>\n

    A godly woman becomes<\/strong>…discovers, decides, makes big plans, does not covet or is afraid..of being alone. She realizes that God is her source, her identity and her saving core purpose.<\/p>\n

    Psalm 121, Psalm 127:1<\/p>\n

    So she prepares.
    \nShe grows.
    \nAnd she flourishes.<\/p>\n

    But she does not ‘tolerate” “nor accept” less.
    \nNor does she chase, nor diminish herself\u00a0 or any person, in order to attract.<\/p>\n

    I. The Seeking Man: His Initiative Matters<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    The Bible and life both teach this:<\/p>\n

    A mature man: (meaning “mature”as emotionally mature, financially mature, practical, realistic life view also mature)<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • \n

      prayerfully seeks<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      investigates character<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      looks for substance<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      observes consistency<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      asks the Lord for wisdom<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      measures his own readiness<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      accepts responsibility<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      This is not casual, emotional wandering.<\/p>\n

      It is intentional, thoughtful, and reverent.<\/p>\n

      Because marriage is not an accident \u2014 it is a covenant (before the AlmightyLord Most High)<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \u00a0(Other than the Bible beliefs, the Core Character and Real Life Issues) And this <\/span><\/strong>Means “<\/span><\/strong> Is the other person SENT FROM GOD or not!”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

      PS <\/strong>Plus I believe in GOD CALLED but chemistry, too . <\/strong>but much more later about this..(<\/strong>for we must define the extent of choices in Christ in that ..due to what is out there, accepted and common)<\/em><\/p>\n

      \nII The Core Component Fighting Most Pure Ministries and Real Life Homes, Families, Couples…is\u00a0<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

      PROVIDER ENERGY WITH RESPONSIBILITY &\u00a0 HUMILITY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      A striking phrase circulating today in identity and relationship discussions is:<\/p>\n

      \u201cProvider Energy.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

      And\u2014surprisingly\u2014it harmonizes with Scripture.<\/p>\n

      Provider energy does not<\/em> merely mean money.<\/p>\n

      Provider energy means:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • \n

        reliability, stick -to- itiveness<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • reliability, being there….also\u00a0 showing up!<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
      • \n

        steadiness , stability, calm under huge big life real pressures<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        initiative, inertia (go forward movement)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        spiritual leadership<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        integrity<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        courage, being bold<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        preparedness<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        emotional stability<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        responsibility<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        sacrificial strength<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        and enough leader, family, marriage prayer\u00a0 covering<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        A provider at his core brings:
        \nSecurity + Direction + Stability.<\/strong><\/p>\n

        This is what protects a woman\u2019s heart.<\/p>\n

        This is what allows her to flourish.<\/p>\n

        This is what enables a covenant to thrive<\/p>\n

        III. FIRST LET’S START WITH THE BIBLE SUBMITTED MAN<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

        A Man ‘that God SENT Choice Wife” Must First BECOME<\/strong> “Realistic,” Not naive, pie in the sky, escapist<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

        A godly man does not seek a wife out of:<\/p>\n

        \u2718 loneliness
        \u2718 fear
        \u2718 panic
        \u2718 competition
        \u2718 insecurity
        \u2718 impulse<\/p>\n

        He seeks her from a place of quality Real Life Pure Motived relaxed readiness<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

        He works on:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • his own inner and outer real life WOR<\/strong>K<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          This means his<\/p>\n

            \n
          • his spiritual maturity<\/li>\n
          • \n

            his inner character<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • his esteem<\/li>\n
          • \n

            his calling<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            his finances<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            his personal habits<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            his discipline<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            his habits of prayer<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            and his walk with God<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • Not before.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            PS the Christ following man SEEKS A WIFE ONLY<\/strong> when, after\u00a0 he is ready finanicially and is sound spiritually and emotionally.<\/p>\n

            to respect, give up his own wants choices, even expectations<\/strong> and to be the Man of the Most High God, who is imperfect, but sound, in the best of his choices and ability. This is ROLE but it has many offshoots, high real pressures and God called role modeling, yet it also comes with SUPREME WARFARE (“the world, the flesh and the devil” PLUS the OTHER PERSONS ISSUES.<\/p>\n

            \u00a0Also the Christian man, is moved only by the SPIRIT not by looks, flesh or deceptive false vanity. (and the right Christian women is not moved by that either!)<\/p>\n

            IV. NOW LETS ADDRESS THE MIGHTY WOMAN <\/strong><\/h2>\n

            According to Proverbs The Woman\u2019s Calling: Flourish, Not Chase<\/strong><\/h2>\n

            The mature Christian woman:<\/p>\n

              \n

              builds her life<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              develops her calling<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              invests in her purpose<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              deepens her walk with God<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              cultivates inner beauty<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              commits to growth<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              becomes whole<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              matures emotionally<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              seeks wisdom<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              cultivates excellence<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              She does not<\/strong> shrink to find a man.<\/p>\n

              She does not<\/strong> seek from emptiness.<\/p>\n

              She does not<\/strong> settle because of time.<\/p>\n

              She does not<\/strong> diminish her calling to attract attention.<\/p>\n

              She becomes the fullness of who God made her to be.<\/p>\n

              Then\u2014
              \nwhen a godly man arrives,
              \nhe finds a flourishing woman.<\/p>\n

              Not a fractured one.<\/p>\n

              V. The Biblical Balance<\/strong><\/h2>\n

              He seeks.
              She becomes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

              He pursues from strength.
              She embraces from fullness.<\/p>\n

              He approaches in readiness.
              She receives in confidence.<\/p>\n

              He carries provider energy.
              She carries flourishing purpose.<\/p>\n

              Together\u2026
              \nthey become a testimony.<\/p>\n

              VI. Final Thought<\/strong><\/h2>\n

              A man without provider energy cannot protect a covenant.
              A woman without identity in Christ cannot last in one.<\/strong><\/p>\n

              The man goes out seeking.
              The woman keeps on growing.<\/p>\n

              Then, together\u2014
              they build.<\/p>\n

RESEARCH I would love to feature his entire song and honor him with the credit’ (will try to Google if) SINGLE IN CHRIST from Petersburg, VA and African American. But apologies, forget his name.\"\"<\/em>“JESUS YOU’RE THE CENTER OF MY JOY”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

              (also an old Christian praise song from the same time period)<\/em><\/p>\n

              Singles in the U.S. (asked Chat GPT AI this am)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

              According to the Pew Research Center (2020)<\/strong>, about 31 % of U.S. adults say they are single \u2014 meaning they are not married, not living with a partner, and not in a committed romantic relationship.

              Singles in Church \/ Religious Contexts<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

              According to an article by the Missio Alliance, a study by Table for One Ministries reported that only about 23 % of adult churchgoers are single.

              Research also suggests that among single adults (never married) church attendance is lower:<\/strong> for example, one source found 42 % of never-married adults reported weekly church attendance, compared to 53 % of married or widowed adults.
