For a time, I was seen as part of that stream and, like many sincere believers, I embraced nearly every Bible-based movement or worship expression that arose in those days. Yet I credit the stable, Bible-grounded example of <strong data-start=\"1000\" data-end=\"1031\">Rev. Billy Graham\u2013era faith<\/strong>, and the godly wisdom of my parents and extended family, for grounding me in sound doctrine, reverence, and enduring prayer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1160\" data-end=\"1574\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">When I use the term <strong data-start=\"1180\" data-end=\"1200\">\u201cAbiding Faith,\u201d<\/strong> I refer to a <em data-start=\"1214\" data-end=\"1232\">ministry meaning<\/em>\u2014distinct from any branded movement. I withdrew from <em data-start=\"1285\" data-end=\"1290\">all<\/em> ministry systems that became authoritarian, biased, manipulative, or materialistic. Too many evolved into controlling subcultures of gossip, witch-watching, and vulture-style \u201cdiscernment,\u201d often cloaked as prophetic purity but bearing no true respect for the wider Body of Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1576\" data-end=\"1904\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">My focus is not to accuse or condemn the founding fathers and mothers of these movements. Most could never have foreseen how vast their influence would grow\u2014or how others would twist sincere biblical faith into doctrines of control, greed, or idolatrous success. For that, I offer compassion and understanding, not accusation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1906\" data-end=\"2121\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">I do, however, call for <em data-start=\"1930\" data-end=\"1950\">reform and reproof<\/em> at the level of the Hebrews 10:25 fellowship base\u2014the congregations, networks, and local ministry communities\u2014where these distortions continue to harm rather than heal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2123\" data-end=\"2423\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">We owe much to both the <strong data-start=\"2147\" data-end=\"2164\">Word of Faith<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2169\" data-end=\"2194\">Prophetic Charismatic<\/strong> expressions, for within them are priceless truths about faith, prayer, and the living God. Yet these must be purified and restored for true spiritual emergency use\u2014not for manipulation, gain, or media-driven celebrity worship.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2425\" data-end=\"2728\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">As one who has observed for decades, I refuse to join the chorus of public accusers. I will even defend the right of leaders like <strong data-start=\"2555\" data-end=\"2570\">Joel Osteen<\/strong>, who, though often maligned by \u201cDemas Gossip Ministries,\u201d may simply trigger envy and misunderstanding from those who cannot see the grace behind his call.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2730\" data-end=\"2996\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Since the 1970s, it has been my joy and calling to watch, discern, and help reform what goes on under the name of Christ-following. I do not use <em data-start=\"2875\" data-end=\"2891\">faith teaching<\/em> to enrich myself\u2014but to grow in grace, live dependently upon God, and model <strong data-start=\"2968\" data-end=\"2993\">faith without faction<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2998\" data-end=\"3223\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">We now offer this as a <strong data-start=\"3021\" data-end=\"3071\">Cross Cultural, Mature Minister Body of Christ<\/strong> approach\u2014beyond denominations, beyond media labels\u2014anchored in the humility and nobility of the Bereans, and in the abiding truth of the Word of God.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"368\" data-end=\"408\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong data-start=\"371\" data-end=\"406\">CROSS BODY UNITY POSITION PAPER PART 2<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 data-start=\"409\" data-end=\"482\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><em data-start=\"413\" data-end=\"480\">\u201cReproof, Reform, and Respect: Faith Without Faction or Idolatry\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"483\" data-end=\"641\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">\u00a9 2025 Taveau D\u2019Arcy Creative Leadership \/ EORR Cross Body Unity International<\/span><br data-start=\"561\" data-end=\"564\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><em data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"639\">(AI-assisted but all original insights are the work of Dr. Taveau D\u2019Arcy)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"648\" data-end=\"666\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong data-start=\"652\" data-end=\"666\">I. Purpose<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"668\" data-end=\"1060\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">This Cross Body Unity statement continues our reform focus concerning the <em data-start=\"742\" data-end=\"757\">Word of Faith<\/em> and <em data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"785\">Prophetic Charismatic<\/em> movements. It seeks to clarify that reproof and reform must begin not with public accusation or elite leadership blame, but with honest, Spirit-led evaluation at the <strong data-start=\"952\" data-end=\"986\">Hebrews 10:25 fellowship level<\/strong> \u2014 the local congregation, ministry network, and community of believers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1062\" data-end=\"1206\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Our call is to <strong data-start=\"1077\" data-end=\"1131\">purify methods, restore motive, and redirect focus<\/strong> from material success to spiritual integrity and relationship with Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1213\" data-end=\"1234\"><strong data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1234\">II. Statement<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1236\" data-end=\"1501\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">We <strong data-start=\"1239\" data-end=\"1261\">reprove and reform<\/strong> primarily at the <em data-start=\"1279\" data-end=\"1297\">grassroots level<\/em> \u2014 what Scripture calls the gathering of believers in Hebrews 10:25. These are the congregations, the ministry fellowships, and the everyday communities where faith must remain pure and people-centered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1503\" data-end=\"1782\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">We do <strong data-start=\"1509\" data-end=\"1570\">not accuse or attack the senior founders or early leaders<\/strong> of these movements. I have <strong data-start=\"1598\" data-end=\"1635\">deep compassion and understanding<\/strong> for them, for they could not have known how vast their ministries would become, nor how later generations would twist or misuse their teachings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1784\" data-end=\"2084\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Over time, some followers \u2014 both saved and unsaved \u2014 took sound faith doctrines and <strong data-start=\"1868\" data-end=\"1901\">ran with them toward extremes<\/strong>: creating false, biased systems of control, \u201cshepherding\u201d legalism, and even forms of white witchcraft or New Apostolic Reformation (NAR)-style manipulation bearing <em data-start=\"2067\" data-end=\"2081\">impure fruit<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2086\" data-end=\"2208\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Yet, the original heart of these teachings was faith, freedom, and the living presence of Christ \u2014 not control or greed.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2215\" data-end=\"2261\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong data-start=\"2219\" data-end=\"2261\">III. Reform Focus: Restoring Right Use<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2263\" data-end=\"2439\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">We remain <strong data-start=\"2273\" data-end=\"2358\">grateful for both the Word of Faith and Prophetic Charismatic movements \u2014 in part<\/strong>. They carried genuine biblical insights that brought life and healing to many.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2441\" data-end=\"2646\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Our goal is to <strong data-start=\"2456\" data-end=\"2514\">encourage the right re-use of what is true and needful<\/strong>, especially in times of spiritual emergency and warfare, while rejecting misuse, abuse, or the elevation of <em data-start=\"2623\" data-end=\"2632\">success<\/em> to an idol.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2648\" data-end=\"2857\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">In some modern circles, <em data-start=\"2672\" data-end=\"2690\">success theology<\/em> has become a subtle form of <strong data-start=\"2719\" data-end=\"2737\">Bible idolatry<\/strong> \u2014 a focus on results, wealth, and fame rather than Christ Himself. Cross Body Unity stands firmly against this drift.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2864\" data-end=\"2914\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong data-start=\"2868\" data-end=\"2914\">IV. Respect and Discernment Toward Leaders<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2916\" data-end=\"3079\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">I will not name or accuse major leaders from afar. However, I do call attention to the <strong data-start=\"3003\" data-end=\"3038\">misjudgment and media hostility<\/strong> often directed toward certain figures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2425\" data-end=\"2728\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">As one who has observed for decades, I refuse to join the chorus of public accusers. I will even defend the right of leaders like <strong data-start=\"2555\" data-end=\"2570\">Joel Osteen<\/strong>, who, though often maligned by \u201cDemas Gossip Ministries,\u201d may simply trigger envy and misunderstanding from those who cannot see the grace behind his call.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2425\" data-end=\"2728\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">While I admire and value and genuinely respect the long ministry of Sr Pastor Joel Osteen, I do not know him,nor or am in his experienced, powerful and proven non elite peer group..<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2425\" data-end=\"2728\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Nor have every been SENT to abide in or visit his ministry. Reason ? I felt peace about it. And I might have gone, living DFW 2005-2020 but I never once felt God&#8217;s need to go. Therefore I refuse to dishonor, accuse , neither bear false witness against a servant leader in Christ, who is more experience in world wide greatness of massive plus media, whom I regard as stable, worthy and for the most part &#8220;True&#8221; However,\u00a0 I do not personally know him, or them.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3571\" data-end=\"3607\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong data-start=\"3575\" data-end=\"3607\">V. Personal Ministry Witness<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3609\" data-end=\"3743\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Since the 1970s, it has been both my <strong data-start=\"3646\" data-end=\"3665\">calling and joy<\/strong> to observe and discern what takes place under the name of Christ-following.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3745\" data-end=\"4078\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">I have never used faith teaching for wealth or status. Instead, I have <strong data-start=\"3816\" data-end=\"3858\">applied it personally and relationally<\/strong>, growing in grace and dependence on God. My faith was shaped not by popular personalities but by <strong data-start=\"3956\" data-end=\"3988\">mature, faith-filled Bereans<\/strong> \u2014 wise, Bible-grounded believers from Methodist, Presbyterian, and Baptist backgrounds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4080\" data-end=\"4286\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Thus, my reformation approach is <strong data-start=\"4113\" data-end=\"4163\">Cross-Cultural, Mature Minister Body of Christ<\/strong> \u2014 educated but not elitist, spiritually alive but not sensational, grounded in Selah reflection rather than competition<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"4293\" data-end=\"4350\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong data-start=\"4297\" data-end=\"4350\">VI. Reforming Ministry Views on Methods and Money<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4352\" data-end=\"4501\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">This movement of reproof and reform includes a practical recalibration of Christian leadership ethics regarding identity, success, and stewardship:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol data-start=\"4503\" data-end=\"5195\">\n<li data-start=\"4503\" data-end=\"4632\">\n<p data-start=\"4506\" data-end=\"4632\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong data-start=\"4506\" data-end=\"4553\">Faith and ministry are not identity brands.<\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"4553\" data-end=\"4556\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">They are not to be used for comparison, competition, or \u201cFOMO\u201d culture.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4634\" data-end=\"4765\">\n<p data-start=\"4637\" data-end=\"4765\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong data-start=\"4637\" data-end=\"4687\">Ministry must not be used for material status.<\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"4687\" data-end=\"4690\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Faith teaching is never to become a business of image or accumulation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4767\" data-end=\"4888\">\n<p data-start=\"4770\" data-end=\"4888\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong data-start=\"4770\" data-end=\"4803\">Reject avarice and spectacle.<\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"4803\" data-end=\"4806\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">There is no place for outlandish displays or luxury as proof of divine favor.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4890\" data-end=\"5043\">\n<p data-start=\"4893\" data-end=\"5043\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong data-start=\"4893\" data-end=\"4941\">Teach personal responsibility and obedience.<\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"4941\" data-end=\"4944\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Each believer must follow God and their own Spirit-led conscience\u2014without control or coercion.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5045\" data-end=\"5195\">\n<p data-start=\"5048\" data-end=\"5195\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong data-start=\"5048\" data-end=\"5084\">Maintain an eternal perspective.<\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"5084\" data-end=\"5087\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">All ministry must answer to the \u201cFinal Day\u201d standard\u2014accountability before Christ, not public applause.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 data-start=\"5202\" data-end=\"5225\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong data-start=\"5206\" data-end=\"5225\">VII. Conclusion<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"5227\" data-end=\"5391\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">This Cross Body Unity statement affirms that <strong data-start=\"5272\" data-end=\"5388\">the true reformation of faith teaching begins within hearts and communities, not institutions or media platforms<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5393\" data-end=\"5598\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">We call for a <strong data-start=\"5407\" data-end=\"5457\">return to the purity of Christ-centered motive<\/strong>, where faith serves the Kingdom, not the ego; where teaching equips rather than entraps; and where leaders embody humility over hierarchy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5602\" data-end=\"5742\"><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\"><strong data-start=\"5602\" data-end=\"5644\">Abiding Faith, Not Idolatrous Success.<\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"5644\" data-end=\"5647\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Reform, not accusation.<\/span><br data-start=\"5672\" data-end=\"5675\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Relationship, not religion.<\/span><br data-start=\"5704\" data-end=\"5707\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Christ in all, and through all.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Also, while I do (2 Timothy 3:16-17) I reprove and reform what is usua<\/strong>lly ONLY at the Hebrews 10:25 BOTTOM (in the vase seeking ministry congregation and the ministry fellowships and the community BUT I DO WANT TO ACCUSE THE SR TOP FOUNDERS for I do not know them, nor have anything but deep compassion and understanding for they did not how BIG ALL OF THIS WOULD GET nor could they know that MANY PERSONS (really saved, unsaved) would TAKE IT and RUN WITH IT and USE IT to be doctrines with false biased, controlling, shepherding, NAR white witchcraft, cagey impure fruit<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Yet,\u00a0 I a lot to both of these movements (word of faith, prophetic charismatic IN PART ) but now we hope to encourage RE USE of what is TRUE and NEEDFUL in deep satanic EMERGENCY but not to misuse it, or abuse or make SUCCESS a Bible Idolatry. (like it has quickly become in CERTAIN MEDIA, immature various local\u00a0 EFFECTED FALSE PROPHET realms)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">NAY SAYERS:<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"129\" data-end=\"526\"><strong>I<span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"> dare anyone to find fault<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"> with this person for using this faith teaching to make myself wealthy. Rather, I have used it, relied on it, and better understood it\u2014rather alone, apart from the gatherings\u2014for I grew in faith, not works, and not among the spirit-filled but rather among mature, gifted, faith-filled, Bible-noble Bereans who stemmed from Methodists, Presbyterians, and many Baptists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"528\" data-end=\"700\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">I offer all of this up as a Cross-Cultural, Mature Minister Body of Christ \u201cChristian Word-working, not Baptist\u201d type of well-educated (not class-conscious) Proven Selah.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"702\" data-end=\"720\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Much more later.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>ATTEMPT TO REFORM CHRISTIAN MINISTRY VIEWS, OPINIONS, TRAINING ABOUT METHODS AND MONEY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">1.
