With That Said: Let’s Review First Church Basic “Organic” Ministry:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This vision looks back to the First Church<\/strong>, where Ephesians 4 was lived out through teaching, role-modeling, and transformed community life \u2014 g<\/strong>rounded in mutual submission in the fear of the Lord (Ephesians 5:21) among leaders, elders, families, and married male and female legally wed Bible submitted born again Christian couples. It was organic,<\/strong> without worldly hierarchy, big titles, or oppressive customs. It valued the function of the five-fold ministry \u2014 apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists, teachers \u2014 alongside bishops and deacons, without using titles to dominate.<\/p>\n

First Church, teaching, offices and leaders, most of the lay, top valued ‘relationship” first with God,<\/strong> then their families, then with the bigger prophetic, also pioneering are community”<\/p>\n

The Very First Church vs. Turf Guarding<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

First Church pre Constantine Paul Philippians 2:12 command “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling…”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The apostolic First Church was never meant to be an “in crowd” “all one color, all one ministry style” one man or showbiz…network (also NOW\u00a0 turf-guarding leaders) or self centric, passive or dominating …nor<\/strong> overly self-protective ministry groups. It was not run through the lens of Pharisee law, where salvation was weighed down by man-made regulations, nitpicking, and self-importance. Instead, the gospel was lived out in Spirit-led simplicity, where every believer was free to hear from God for themselves \u2014<\/strong> to gather in fellowship or, at times, meet in smaller settings without fear of being \u201cout of order.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a01. No one person or “one style of ministry group” was \u201cover all the rest\u201d<\/strong>
Authority was shared and functional, not centralized or political. Apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists, and teachers were recognized for their service and calling, not for claiming superiority over others. Leadership was a stewardship, not a throne.<\/p>\n

2. Freedom to follow God\u2019s leading.<\/strong>
Each believer was free to worship, gather, and serve as the Holy Spirit led. Attending the house meetings or larger assemblies was not enforced by intimidation or the threat of being labeled rebellious. Participation flowed from love for Christ, not fear of man.<\/p>\n

3. No \u201cbig I\u2019s\u201d and \u201clittle you\u2019s.\u201d<\/strong>
The early church had no celebrity pastors, no ministry caste system, and no people-pleasing politics. Every member was valued as a living stone in the spiritual house (1 Peter 2:5), and mutual submission (Ephesians 5:21) was the way of life.<\/p>\n

4. A unified, edifying community.<\/strong>
Though diverse in gifts, the early believers worked as one body \u2014 elite privilege, favoritism, and division had no place. Priorities were not gifting, personal achievement, financial gain, physical appearance, congregation size, or fame.<\/p>\n

    Caring for the poor, widows, and marginalized (Acts 6:1\u20137; James 1:27)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Advancing the gospel to every nation (Matthew 28:18\u201320)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    KEY POINT: <\/strong><\/p>\n

    Over time, in the 2nd\u20134th centuries,<\/strong> worldly systems from Rome, Greece, and Constantine\u2019s influence replaced this model with hierarchy, orthodoxy, and repression \u2014 especially of women \u2014 while dismantling the cell-form, mutual submission, and \u201ceveryone is equal\u201d<\/strong> mindset. But God\u2019s priorities remain: valuing Him above titles, customs, human favoritism, or worldly ambition; honoring women equally with men; respecting every child; and fostering community care, free from competition, exploitation, defilement, or moral compromise in ministry.<\/p>\n

    This Cross Body Unity, T. D’Arcy call is not about control.<\/strong> I am not “OVER YOU” nor UNDER YOU, this an apostolic Pauline office (function) which is church to church style. Also I represent \u00a0the more diverse among us.<\/p>\n

    And I present no ‘autocratic dogma” j<\/strong>ust thought-provoking Selahs<\/em>,for filling modern\/historiacl Bible teaching gaps but\u00a0 minus requiring no one to “authoritarian” submit” to me \u2014 and I do not submit to those seeking control. Like Paul (Galatians 1:1\u20132, Acts 17:17)<\/strong>, this apostolic servant-leader vision works across the Body of Christ, both in marketplace and church, carrying the cross together in the love-walk spirit of the Philadelphia Church (Revelation 2) for the Last Days. (Note;: the Philadelphian love walk church “is the only church whose doors will never close”)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

    Teaching the Turf-Guarders: Ephesians 4 in Context<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

    Ephesians 4 is one of the clearest blueprin<\/strong>ts for revival, yet it must known and valued, adhered to by the top office leadership \u2014 and it leaves no room for “competition, avarice, “respecter of persons’ celebrity or play time fantasy about being a Super Star in ministry.<\/p>\n

    This Scripture is NOT about false priorities<\/strong>, but about the LORD and HE DEMANDS. So this is boring and tame to the thrill seekers, even ones in the top grandest sr ministries. As this apostolic training does\u00a0 value acquiring big income, class, social rank, or revered title ABOVE the eternal worth of a” soul.”<\/p>\n

    And early church Paul\u2019s call<\/strong> is to create a Spirit-led, interdependent network <\/strong>(not a class conscious system,\u00a0 famous name private bastien, nor a system or devout cult). Rather,, it is intended\u00a0 to produce, reproduce and pass down a concept and “being”(organism, recognized harmony of a Christ bearing, also cross carrying daily area\u00a0 Community”….\u00a0where every tribe, tongue, and culture works together to train, equip, and mature believers. Minus Big I’s and Little You’s” (“no respecter of persons in ministry” and the sign that bears witness to the ongoing wisdom from above (James 3:17 ) which is “pure, peaceable, easily entreated, full of mercy and good fruit, without partiality, without hypocrisy”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

    When leaders submit t<\/strong>o what God really wants, they trade short-term rewards for the long-term fruit of souls won and lives transformed \u2014 the kind of work that pleases God and lasts into eternity.<\/p>\n

    1. Walk Worthy of the Calling(Ephesians 4:1\u20133)<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

    Ephesians 4:1-3 are Apostle Paul’s office instructions..a\u00a0 “how to”<\/strong> (note that: it requires ongoing training and fortitude, and each of our ‘work”) yet it pleases the Father, and prepares the Bible yielded Christian area community “landscape” (fragrant or not)<\/p>\n

    \u201cWalk worthy\u2026 with all lowliness and meekness,<\/strong> with longsuffering, forbearing one another<\/strong> in love; endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.\u201d<\/p>\n

    A leader\u2019s calling is a pathway of humility<\/strong>, not a pedestal.<\/p>\n

      Lowliness<\/em> \u2014 valuing others above oneself.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Meekness<\/em> \u2014 choosing gentleness over control.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Longsuffering<\/em> \u2014 enduring offense without retaliation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Forbearance in love<\/em> \u2014 giving space for growth and grace.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Unity is a bond of peace<\/strong> \u2014 turf-guarding destroys this peace.<\/p>\n

      2. One Body, One Spirit, One Hope<\/strong>(Ephesians 4:4\u20136)<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

      \u201cThere is one body, and one Spirit\u2026 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

      God\u2019s vision is one body<\/strong> \u2014 not divided by denomination, turf, special club, ethnicity, economy, or brand. Every believer belongs equally.<\/p>\n

      3. Leadership Gifts Are Functions, Not Thrones<\/strong>(Ephesians 4:7\u201313)<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

      \u201cHe gave some, apostles\u2026 prophets\u2026 evangelists\u2026 pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

      Fivefold gifts serve others (we don’t worship the little g “god” of traditional pecking order)<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Apostles<\/em> \u2014 pioneer and oversee<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Prophets<\/em> \u2014 bring God\u2019s heart and correction<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        The goal is not recognition “our acclaim”<\/strong> but “humbly pleasing God” which is in Ephesians 4 “offices unified in the faith.. for the “<\/em>perfecting the saints”<\/em>. Leaders must lay down SELF, all power games, brand wars, and income-first thinking for kingdom fruitfulness. This is not the hour for a Demas apostle, prophet, teacher, pastor or witnessing soul winner, leader or lay.<\/p>\n

        4. Maturity in Love, Not Bearing Titles, Power,\u00a0 Manipulation<\/strong>(Ephesians 4:14\u201316)<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

        \u201c\u2026that we henceforth be no more children\u2026<\/strong> but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

        Maturity is not in numbers or budgets<\/strong> but in Christlikeness respecting “holy fear of the Lord” and modest fruit..for building others, and guarding unity. Christ alone is Head<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Eternal Perspective<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

        In eternity, the Lord will not ask how many titles we held or how much revenue we generated,<\/strong> but how faithfully we built His Body, protected unity, and valued souls above self.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s unpack it deeply in context of the First Church<\/strong> (Acts onward), the pluralistic Greco-Roman world<\/strong>, and its meaning for us today.<\/p>\n

            There is one body, and one Spirit<\/strong>, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

            1. Purpose of the Common Doctrine<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

            Paul was writing to a diverse church in Ephesus<\/strong>, a city filled with temples, false gods, Caesar-worship, and philosophies. Believers came from Jewish and Gentile backgrounds<\/strong>\u2014some steeped in pagan cults, others in Mosaic law. The \u201ccommon doctrine\u201d was not a checklist of legalisms but a unifying<\/span> declaration of allegiance<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

                                3. Were These Legalisms?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

                                No\u2014Paul presents them as confessions of unity<\/strong>, not rules for exclusion.<\/p>\n

                                  They are identity markers<\/strong>, not performance checklists.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                                  Legalism = trusting works, ceremonies, or human traditions for salvation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                                    So yes\u2014it did identify true vs. false believers<\/strong>, but not by man-made law; by allegiance to Christ.<\/p>\n

                                    4. Standing Out in the Ancient World<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

                                      Paganism<\/strong>: many gods, many cults, many initiations \u2192 Christianity: ONE.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                                      Emperor worship<\/strong>: Caesar is lord \u2192 Christianity: JESUS is Lord.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                                      Philosophy<\/strong>: many paths to truth \u2192 Christianity: one faith, one hope.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                                        We live in a new pluralistic society: relativism, \u201call paths lead to God,\u201d self-made spirituality.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                                        The common doctrine still unites<\/strong> true believers in Christ worldwide.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                                        It\u2019s not a denominational creed but a shared confession of allegiance<\/strong> to Jesus.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
