Just submitting what follows as MY VERY OWN “THOUGHTS” which nobody has to follow, abide under but at least we can “attempt to provoke Realistic Preventive Thought”<\/p>\n

Personally, the thought comes: th<\/strong>ose (many) people put their BEST picture on those dating websites. False everything\u2014wigs, eyelashes, padding, and MORE. They pretend to be something different than they are, meaning they seem insecure or want a person desperately.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Now, of course, AL<\/strong>L who do that are NOT like that, but it appears that so many are. Just my own particular opinion.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
But I believe that doing tha<\/strong>t would lead to eventual disappointment, EVEN SHOCK, horror, and disgust (MEANING due to the false front\u2014could be figuratively or literally, say, haha!). Due to false advertising, as eventually, later, the real stuff will be made plain.<\/span><\/div>\n

The thought come<\/strong>s: to make yourself look very plain, yet sincere. Or even WHY not look a mess? A tad ugly. Meaning, from the start, this COULD cull out the creeps. If you look plain and real, perhaps then if they pick you, it will be a sign of THEIR down-to-earth and caring (possible) GOOD TRUE MOTIVES, and that is a possible sign of quality true character.<\/span><\/div>\n

PS: And they’ll be so overjoyed w<\/strong>ith surprise when they see the REAL YOU is really better than your picture. It will make them appreciate you more!<\/span><\/div>\n

Miss T has always liked hair<\/strong>. Perhaps it was because her mother was also so picky about it. And it may stem from a 6-7-year-old’s horrific personal hair memory: as in right before my elementary school picture day, when blessed,\u00a0 dear mother whacked off the front bangs and left them WAY TOO SHORT.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hence, I suppose<\/strong>, I always notice hair (not in a crucial or accusing way but in a matter-of-fact, due to basic nice person “interested” meaning this in an ordinary way. I’ve seen so very many passing hair trends and tried a few of my own.<\/span><\/p>\n

And, as a matter of fact,<\/strong> this person has always LIKED LONGER Hair\u2014on males, females, all kinds, styles, races, all persons, all Christian and non-Christian styles. And this means I always have loved seeing “organic” national, international, global ETHNIC types and STYLES. I find it fascinating and I love to see it, study it, watch it. It never bothers me how freaky, wild, long, or short the hair is, for I understand it is each person’s matter of their own business, but also means how they express themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thus it\u00a0 REALLY TROUBLES me wh<\/strong>en I see online or on TV a person has had their hair cut off by the school or teacher which is a BIG ABASEMENT, even DEMEANING oversteping ego ” violation” of that\u00a0 precious human being as a “deep person.” “their own dignity as a God formed (EQUAL) Human) (and MOST especially\u00a0 a young child, youth!!)<\/span><\/p>\n

So I pen what follows on behalf of Life and Fellow Humans,<\/strong> even ministers. HOWEVER, I will pen this here and write it out again LATER that “MY ONLY RULE OF THUMB for a person’s hair is that THE HAIR BEARER PERSON (or wig or style person) should be “OTHER” CENTERED and not SELFISH… thus they would then choose to NOT WEAR ANY HAIR SIZE, SHAPE, DESIGN, AMOUNT (includes wigs) THAT IS SO BIG that it would block the view of another human person. <\/span><\/p>\n

This also means that if one is a student,<\/strong> a fellowship attender, at a movie house, or similar, that one would NOT sit in front but at the BACK if one has BIG OVER-TALL HAIR on that particular day. (This also means that the student, fellowship attender, or movie theater goer would be UNSELFISH and realize that they must comport THEIR PERSON to not HINDER or BLOCK the VIEW of any friend, professor, pastor, teacher, fellow classmate, or movie, ETC)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

But upfront, for you to note:<\/strong> She grew up in “NORFOLK, VA,” a busy cosmopolitan seaport, multi-national (back in the day known as PROGRESSIVE). That means that it was not SO conservative, more worldly. And the “head shops” (druggie paraphernalia, plus sold black lights and strobe lights for those kinds of parties) appeared as it was the Hippy (Jesus person) era, and the big breakthrough secular musical HAIR had a great enduring catchy phrase which I always enjoyed, “LET YOUR FREAK FLAG FLY” (for this sister had a biking buddy “guy” neighbor, same-age friend who had very frizzy hair, which he was trying to grow long. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And back then, I believe that his parents gav<\/strong>e him GRIEF over the LONG, so HE used to repeat that “COOL” (with the hint of ‘hidden rebellion”) phrase. (“Freak flag fly” pertained to the “hippy freak” not all of whom did drugs, believe YOU, me, long (flower child-like) hair, as it was just breaking freedom from the stronghold of VERY SHORT SHORT male hair. <\/span><\/p>\n

Also I very much enjoy noting the big varieties<\/strong> of “ethnic” hair, and it brings me back to when I first noted when the popular style in the non Caucasian, USA black culture began showing out\u00a0 many Afros in sizes, big kinds…began to appear. Big Example..on TV.: Don Cornelius on Soul Train, which I watched, and which this person often viewed as ‘hip” and fascinating, due to the dancing, the style, but also the hair was cool and big, plus interesting.<\/span><\/p>\n

AND ALSO:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“OLD” OR “CROSS GENERATIONAL” LIKE THIS SELF AND ALSO DIVERS EORR CROSS BODY UNITY MOVE..IN INTERGENERATIONAL…which means AGE, IDENTIFY, SELF WORTH\u00a0 AND MATURITY LIES MAINLY\u00a0 IS\u00a0 IN BETWEEN YOUR OWN TWO EARS.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

T’S WISE VIEW:<\/strong> Some persons can be YOUNG on the outside but OLDER mature, and more responsible\u00a0 on the inside…than some a old OLDER in natural AGE. It goes the Same with AGE one can be of mature AGE but immature, or weak on the INSIDE while “appearing” classically OLDER by man’s human type of age ‘stereotyping”<\/p>\n

BOTTOM LINE RULE AT EORR CBU” Ministers: you need to quit that stereotyping formula FAST FIX relationship avoiding (EASY ON YOU) Hurried Demas “Watching ” Achievement<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

So\u00a0 bear this in mind when I share the following;<\/span><\/p>\n

This she person attended public high school in Norfolk,<\/strong> VA, which among the teenagers, and also due to the form of music, in that day was nicknamed and referred to by (at least some that I knew) as “Soul Town.” (I heard that more when I went to a prom in the Granby Prom (I believe) which was more toward the heart of the Norfolk downtown.)<\/span><\/p>\n

FUNNY ASIDE; Revealing back in the day<\/strong>: My parents later moved to Virginia Beach, but I finished my high school in Norfolk and graduated there. Back in the old days, there was a regional hit by “Bill Deal and the Rhondells,” who played at a secular dance-type place, but it was all over the local radio. AND GUESS WHAT THE NAME OF THE HIT WAS?…”SHE SHOT A HOLE IN MY SOUL.” Corny for sure..but a “one hit wonder” to the best of my recollection. (this was more trendy “pop” to classify.. and I back then perceived my wild tastes\u00a0 was more “progressive” and loved the harder rock sound)<\/span><\/p>\n

For this musician and later a professor, songwriter, teacher of music, worship: grew up right when soul<\/strong> music and rock then turned into Acid Rock” and the Hard Rock, great long guitar riffs, which they back then termed ” Progressive Rock,” but later when it changed over to Disco, I felt it was plastic, so I tuned out. But also I was a Christian like Jesus Person ,yet flower child( sort of)\u00a0 and wanted “zero” pop but heavier, original. (however, later when off on my own in college, the Lord convicted me and I gave up. But that is precisely WHY I enjoy what is CURRENT in Christian ‘orginal’ pure, deep and Holy Spirit genuinely “anointing” various styles of contemporary music (but DEEP POWERFUL..Holy Spirit, not the usual commericial\/ trendy pop)<\/span><\/p>\n

BUT this friendly yet cautious, Child of Issachar,\u00a0<\/strong> HAS NEVER EVER EVEN ONCE… been “stuck in the day,” for I try to keep awake and modern CURRENT…as I am made that way. Furthermore I enjoy it, as I live by my “inner age”(inside age 28-30 since FOREVER 20’s and up..(and my apologies to the OLD “woe is me”busy Crowd) I do not LOOK age 28-30 but I surely THINK IT, FEEL IT and GO FOR IT like those.<\/span><\/p>\n

And yet I\u00a0 understand the role<\/strong> and culture of THE PRESENT even in the non-churched big trends and the Church worship fine arts trends. By God’s grace, I was born ALERT, so I plan to always “BE that” for “such a time as this.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

However, I want to get back to the H<\/strong>AIR ISSUE once again… HEADS OF FINE QUALITY and BIG HAIR, which I ALWAYS HAVE SINCERELY LIKED and have wholly approved of, as I do still: RIGHT NOW. It is NOT MY BUSINESS how YOU wear YOUR HAIR. It’s a form of freedom of expression, which is a form of LIFE, and one must GROW it, style it, and use it as one FEELS, for life is fleeting. MY OWN RULE OF THUMB ABOUT SIZE OF HAIR?? “BEING OTHER CENTERED”… To me, this means… just so I can sit behind you in a movie theater or in a class or a church and SEE the movie, the person, the speaker, and what’s going on in the front of the room!<\/span><\/p>\n

However, NOT ALL PERSONS WANT LONG, MEDIUM, BIG HAIR, OR TO BEAR HAIR AT ALL so we understand.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We now shift to FOCUS THE ATTENTION<\/strong>: We also culturally now note that MANY (males, females, all races) “Going Minus,” as in “the extremely short, close to the head,” and MANY with “THE BALD LOOK” as a MEGA, even future plus NOW… Fashion trend also, “Currently”… THUS… NO BIAS AGAINST, with or WITHOUT, as it’s the CHARACTER and HUMAN PERSON beneath ALL OF THIS that Matters! It’s “to each their own” at least over HERE (“or hair” or “hare” vs tortoise!)… AND at Cross Body Unity.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Perhaps the first signs of the TD creative wit side…<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A glad fond memory<\/strong>: I owe much thanks to Mr. Hugh Bergeon, my 11th-grade AP English teacher at my Norfolk, VA Lake Taylor High School, who was the FIRST EVER PERSON to tell me that I was a GOOD writer and a Creative Writer, or I might never have imagined… and it helped me to get into college with my parody (the humorous take-off) on Beowulf.<\/span><\/p>\n

Humorous Mr. B was very memorable<\/strong>, an understated WITTY theatrical-seeming flamboyance… and to this former shy teenager… His Educational Persona lasts in this person’s memory as a clever-minded “mind sticker, for his hairstyle, which he wore in a BRIGHT “orange” comb-over… for he would be seated at his desk and bend over to read… which made the BRIGHT… DARK-REDDISH- plus ORANGE (LONG wisps of) hair style quite visible… and memorable.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, dear devoted and POSITIVE<\/strong> Mr. Bergeon did not favor pet persons. He was very kind and very fair.<\/span><\/p>\n

That is HOW I mainly remember him<\/strong>. Again, while he could discipline and correct, he mainly did not seem to need to, as he used urbane wit, levity, lightness, and ENCOURAGEMENT to make us students feel very respected, treated as genuine peers, for Mr. B was SO very humanly POSITIVE.<\/span><\/p>\n

And thus, I wish to honor him.<\/strong> Yet, evidently (!) in this long history, (in hindsight) PEOPLE’S HAIR has always grabbed the attention of this person) “do not comprehend Why) Reason? I suppose it’s because I am a designer, by natural, art, worship music, creative theology multicultural\/problem-solving various approaches, plus a word press, jpg multiple sites, even a former banner designer.<\/span><\/p>\n

AGAIN, ABOUT SOME PERSON’S “HAIR”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Also, I like and “VALUE”… multicultural viable persons, who each has ‘hair.” And that must be “WHY” Dr. T is called to Cross Body Unity, as this wise area person fully ENJOYS the VARIETY of the Human Species. (“a lot of variety” and music and dress and styles which is “uniqueness.”).<\/span><\/p>\n

THUS all of this attention-grabbing<\/strong> to the natural real life is “healthy” for it is not an abstract” but a REALITY that is SO MEANINGFUL to SO MANY in the VARIOUS HUMAN REAL LIFE POPULATIONS. All in all, say that THIS HAIR TOPIC is at times…big fascinating, enduring and also “I enjoy it, find it interesting when it’s intricate and especially unique, tribal, real quality plus well done) thus I can say I really do appreciate and truly RESPECT IT… in all of its MANY kinds and different often extreme, many clever do’s and designs.<\/span><\/p>\n
